coast life

I took a little break from traffic and city life to head out to the coast.
Seattle is bordered by salt water, but it's not true ocean. The true ocean is three hours away and was combined with camping, cooking enormous breakfasts over an open fire, fresh crab and clams and take-your-breath-away-cold ocean dips.

Now it's back to the grind but my heart is feeling a little lighter. Sea air does that to you. That and lots of good food.

p.s. linking up to life lately!

  11. Wow- you went to the Olympic peninsula and could *see* the ocean! I'm impressed! Every time I've gone, it's been a Brigadoon of fog. I'm glad you got a nice change of scenery.

  13. gorgeous!! that is the life right there. i guess i didn't realize seattle wasn't on the ocean truly, but that makes sense. i haven't been camping in a really long time (we were supposed to the other weekend but it was so COLD and rainy), but i would definitely like to in the PNW! seems like the perfect place for camping.
