the thrift list
While I'm sure I could find these things at any mall, I'm also sure I could find them at my local Goodwill. I've seen both denim/chambray shirts and bright pencil skirts and silk blouses were huge in the early 1990s-- whatever top I find I'll just take out the shoulder pads. :)

    I have 7 bright colored pencil skirts from Goodwill and I love them! They're super easy to find.

    cardigans, always cardigans, because they make me feel secure. I know it's weird. Sweaters in general, but more than anything cardis.

    sheets that are great fabric for other projects.

    scarves and belts.

    and always, clothes for my boys who won't stop growing and wearing things out with their crazy ways.

    I totally look for cardigans like Rae. Old sheets too - glad we don't live by each other - he he. I look for old pyrex and danish modern furniture and art. Oh & old Little Golden books!

    Yay!! I am in search of big bulky sweaters.. They are so $$$ everywhere else , I am certain I will find a good one.. ;) It is getting COLD here in Michigan.

    I recently went thrifting and picked up a couple of brightly colored pencils skirts for about $3 each! I love when I find great stuff like that :)

    I have been looking for a glass cloche to display ornaments in, and I love to find vintage wreaths as well! Christmas is such a fun time to thrift!
